I worked on this piece to play with the soft qualities associated with the female figure in contrast with the dangerous, sharp pieces of the metal used. Each piece of metal was individually cut then they were welded together. I finished this piece by lighting it on fire to give it the burnt dark color. The stereotype of woman is to be dainty, but this is not always true. This piece is the attempt to show the female figure in a different way.
